Red Resort
Red Resort on Red Mountain and Granite Mountain in south central British Columbia is renowned for its bountiful powder and varied terrain, a paradise for skiers and boarders alike. Choose from over 83 runs on two mountains that will take you down treed slopes, wide-open groomers, or steep, powder-filled bowls. With over 1200 acres, and 2900 vertical feet, there's lots to explore.

Red Resort is host to downhill skiing and snowboarding in some awesome terrain, including a half pipe built on the mountain every winter. The terrain is also great for snowmobiling, and cross-country skiers and snowshoers have access to four adjacent peaks, none more than 1.5 hours away by way of skis and skins.

Red Mountain is located near the Canada/US border in south Central British Columbia, 28 miles (45 km) south of Castlegar, and just 3 miles (5 km) west of the historic gold mining town of Rossland, which combines rugged outdoor adventure with small town warmth and hospitality.

Red Resort is an easy 7-1/2 hour drive from Vancouver or Calgary. From Vancouver, follow Highway 3 east through Osoyoos, to Highway 3B East. From Calgary, follow the Trans-Canada Highway 1 to Highway 93 South (toward Cranbrook) and then Highway 3 west toward Trail and Rossland. From the United States, Red Mountain is located 125 miles (200 km) north of Spokane, Washington via Highway 395 through Colville, to Highway 25 through Northport.

Daily flights to Castlegar airport are available from Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton on Air B.C or Canadian Airlines. Airport shuttle and rental cars are available from the Castlegar airport. Major U.S. carriers terminate in Spokane, Washington.
